At Disney, everything is better when it’s in the shape of your favorite Disney character. When I saw these Disney Dim Sum offered at Hong Kong Disney Hotel, I just knew I had to book it as a surprise for my friend’s birthday trip.

This adorable Dim Sum can be found at the Crystal Lotus restaurant inside the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. In addition to their famous Disney Dim Sum, the Crystal Lotus restaurant also serves Chinese cuisine from Beijing, Guangdong, Shanghai, and Sichuan. Their full menu is available all day from 12-10pm. However, the Disney Dim Sum is only available for lunch upon reservation and pre-order.
Ordering Disney Dim Sum
The easiest way to pre-order is to email Hong Kong Disneyland here to make your reservation and indicate you’d like to pre-order the Disney Dim Sum. Since the menu changes, they will send you the most updated availability for you to preselect the number of dim sum characters.
I’ve read on other sites that the Disney Dim Sum at Crystal Lotus is only available for hotel guests but this is simply not true so don’t worry about that! You just need to pre-order within 48 hours of your reservation to guarantee.

Hong Kong, a city famous for dim sum, definitely offers a variety all over the city. While this Disney Dim Sum is not the cheapest or the best you’ll ever have, it’s the most unique and fun! It’s the one time you’re allowed to play with your food!

While I definitely could have ordered the entire menu, I didn’t want to fill up before going on rides. Plus, we wanted to save room for all the Mickey Mouse-shaped snacks at Disneyland. However, we did supplement our dim sum with a shared order of Fried Rice from the main menu. Ask for their famous chili sauce, it’s delicious!!!
Overall, I highly recommend Crystal Lotus for the Disney Dim Sum. It’s a unique experience, the restaurant and the grounds are gorgeous, and the staff was super friendly.
How to get to Crystal Lotus Restaurant at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel
From Hong Kong Disneyland, there is a free shuttle that transports guests back and forth between Disneyland and the hotels. The entire loop is about 10 minutes and the shuttle runs every 5 minutes. If you are staying offsite, every taxi driver speaks English and will know where Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is.
